\"\"Born in Bogot\u00e1 (Colombia), he received his degree in Oboe Soloist at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg (Austria) and subsequently completed a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management, with a laureate master's degree, at the Institute of Cultural Administration-IKM of the University of music from Vienna, thanks to a scholarship from the Mazda Foundation of Colombia. As a professional musician, he has played in different orchestras such as the Salzburg Academic Camerata, the European Symphony Orchestra or the Tenerife Symphony (Canary Islands), among others. He has performed as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, the Bogot\u00e1 Philharmonic and the Valle Chamber Orchestra. His activity as a pedagogue has focused on private teaching of the oboe and chamber music in Austria, Spain and Colombia. His experience in cultural management is very extensive, being an artist manager at the Melos Konzerte agency in Vienna, orchestras such as the Sinfonietta Baden, or also an opera and concert producer at the Austrian agency Opera on Original Site. In 1998 he moved his residence to Madrid, where he joined the production department of the Teatro Real. Since 2000 he has served as Artistic Director of the Alb\u00e9niz Foundation and its main programs, the Reina Sof\u00eda Higher School of Music and the International Chamber Music Institute of Madrid, being also production director of the Santander Music Meeting and Academy and of the \u201cPaloma O'Shea\u201d Santander International Piano Competition. He has been invited as a jury in several competitions both in Spain and Colombia, and his work in Madrid has been recognized within the \u201c100 Latinos\u201d program of the FUSIONARTE Association. In 2019 he was honored by the Colombian Embassy as one of the ten most prominent Colombians in Spain. Juan Alonso Mendoza Nacido en Bogot\u00e1 (Colombia), recibi\u00f3 su grado de Solista de oboe en la Universidad Mozarteum de Salzburgo (Austria) y realiz\u00f3 posteriormente un posgrado en Gesti\u00f3n cultural, con diploma de m\u00e1ster laureado, en el Instituto de Administraci\u00f3n Cultural-IKM de la Universidad de m\u00fasica de Viena, gracias a una beca de la Fundaci\u00f3n Mazda de Colombia. Como m\u00fasico profesional, ha tocado en diferentes orquestas como la Camerata Acad\u00e9mica de Salzburgo, la European Symphony Orchestra o la Sinf\u00f3nica de Tenerife (Islas Canarias), entre otras. Ha actuado como solista con la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica Nacional de Colombia, la Filarm\u00f3nica de Bogot\u00e1 y la Orquesta de c\u00e1mara del Valle. Su actividad como pedagogo se ha centrado en la ense\u00f1anza privada del oboe y de la m\u00fasica de c\u00e1mara, en Austria, Espa\u00f1a y Colombia. Su experiencia en la gesti\u00f3n cultural es muy amplia, siendo m\u00e1nager de artistas en la agencia Melos Konzerte de Viena, orquestas como la Sinfonietta Baden, o tambi\u00e9n productor de \u00f3pera y concierto en la agencia austriaca Opera on Original Site. En 1998 traslad\u00f3 su residencia a Madrid, en donde se vincul\u00f3 al departamento de producci\u00f3n del Teatro Real. Desde el a\u00f1o 2000 se desempe\u00f1a como Director Art\u00edstico de la Fundaci\u00f3n Alb\u00e9niz y sus principales programas, la Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica Reina Sof\u00eda y el Instituto Internacional de m\u00fasica de c\u00e1mara de Madrid, siendo tambi\u00e9n director de producci\u00f3n del Encuentro de M\u00fasica y Academia de Santander y del Concurso Internacional de piano de Santander \u201cPaloma O\u00b4Shea\u201d. Ha sido invitado como jurado en varios concursos tanto en Espa\u00f1a como en Colombia, y su labor en Madrid ha sido reconocida dentro del programa \u201c100 Latinos\u201d de la Asociaci\u00f3n FUSIONARTE. En 2019 fue distinguido por la Embajada de Colombia como uno de los diez colombianos m\u00e1s destacados en Espa\u00f1a.
