\"\"Praised for his technique and color palette, Luis Fernando P\u00e9rez is considered one of the most exceptional musicians of his generation and \u201cThe Renaissance of the Spanish Piano\u201d (Le Monde).\u00a0After studying with Dimitri Bashkirov and Galina Egyazarova at the Reina Sof\u00eda Higher School of Music in Madrid, he continued his training with Pierre Laurent Aimard at the Hochschule in Cologne and Alicia de Larrocha at the Marshall Academy in Barcelona. He has received master classes from multiple exceptionally talented performers such as Leon Fleisher, Andras Schiff, Bruno-Leonardo Gelber and Menahen Pressler.<\/span><\/p>

He has collaborated, among many other orchestras, with the National Orchestra of Spain, the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Warsaw Symphony, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and the Baltycka Filharmonia Orchestra together with conductors of the stature of Georges Tchitchinadze, Ros Marb\u00e1, Kazuki Yamada , Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez Cobos and Jean-Jacques Kantorow.\u00a0He is a regular guest at festivals such as La Roque d'Antheron, the Musika-Musika of Bilbao, the Richter Festival (Tours), the Granada International Festival, the Donostiarra Fortnight, the Santander International Festival... and frequently collaborates with the Casals Quartet, the Ardeo Quartet and the Modigliani Quartet.<\/span><\/p>

Despite his youth, his discography is very extensive and has received multiple praises. All of their albums have received the mention of \u201cexceptional album\u201d from Scherzo Magazine. His \u201cIberia\u201d awarded him the Alb\u00e9niz Medal and is considered \u201cThe fourth mythical Iberia\u201d by Grammophone Magazine (Alicia de Larrocha, Esteban S\u00e1nchez, Rafael Orozco). His Goyescas de Granados, recorded on the French label Mirare, received the Diapas\u00f3n de Oro and the Choc of the year from Classica magazine. He has recently recorded an album dedicated to Federico Mompou (FFFF de T\u00e9l\u00e9rama and Diapas\u00f3n 5 Estrellas) and is currently working on the recording of his next work.<\/p>

Along with his frenetic concert activity, he develops an intense dedication to teaching at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center and the Marshall Academy (following in the footsteps of his teacher Alicia de Larrocha).
