Born in Bogota. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Conservatory of the National University of Colombia. With a scholarship from the Colombian government, he pursued postgraduate studies at Indiana University, with Professor Sidney Foster. In 1982, with the prize won in the Pegasso competition, he traveled to Spain, where he studied with the pianist Rosa Sabater. Upon his return to the country, he deepened his knowledge with courses with important international and national pianists such as Blanca Uribe, Harold Martina and Eugene Alcalay. He has performed as a soloist with several orchestras: Colombia Symphony, Bogot\u00e1 Philharmonic, EAFIT of Medell\u00edn and the Ibagu\u00e9 Conservatory. He has performed as a soloist, member of chamber groups and accompanying pianist in various venues across the country such as the concert hall of the Luis \u00c1ngel Arango Library and the Le\u00f3n de Greiff Auditorium of the National University.<\/p>

His research projects have allowed him to premiere, save and innovate contemporary pieces, which he has executed as premieres. Several of them have been broadcast on radio and television and recorded on compact discs. Among the latter, works by Jacqueline Nova, Jes\u00fas Pinz\u00f3n, Claudia Calder\u00f3n and Ra\u00fal Mojica stand out. His presentation of Makrokosmos I at the Bucaramanga International Piano Festival and George Crumb's Makrokosmos III at the Luis \u00c1ngel Arango Library stand out. \u00c1ngela Rodr\u00edguez Naci\u00f3 en Bogot\u00e1. Realiz\u00f3 sus estudios de pregrado en el Conservatorio de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Con una beca del gobierno colombiano adelant\u00f3 estudios de postgrado en la Universidad de Indiana, con el profesor Sidney Foster. En 1982, con el premio obtenido en el concurso Pegasso, viaj\u00f3 a Espa\u00f1a, en donde estudi\u00f3 con la pianista Rosa Sabater. A su regreso al pa\u00eds, profundiz\u00f3 sus conocimientos con cursos con importantes pianistas internacionales y nacionales como Blanca Uribe, Harold Martina y Eugene Alcalay. Ha actuado como solista con varias orquestas: Sinf\u00f3nica de Colombia, Filarm\u00f3nica de Bogot\u00e1, EAFIT de Medell\u00edn y del Conservatorio de Ibagu\u00e9. Se ha presentado como solista, integrante de grupos de c\u00e1mara y pianista acompa\u00f1ante en diversas salas del pa\u00eds como la sala de conciertos de la Biblioteca Luis \u00c1ngel Arango y el Auditorio Le\u00f3n de Greiff de la Universidad Nacional. \u00a0 Sus proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n le han permitido estrenar, salvar e innovar en piezas contempor\u00e1neas, las cuales ha ejecutado en calidad de estreno. Varias de ellas han sido transmitidas por radio y televisi\u00f3n y grabadas en discos compactos. Entre estas \u00faltimas se destacan obras de Jacqueline Nova, Jes\u00fas Pinz\u00f3n, Claudia Calder\u00f3n y Ra\u00fal Mojica. Se destaca su presentaci\u00f3n del Makrokosmos I en el Festival Internacional de Piano de Bucaramanga y el Makrokosmos III de George Crumb en la Biblioteca Luis \u00c1ngel Arango.
